The problem of enlarged prostrate is quite prevalent among men, especially among those who are above fifty. One out of every two men over the age of 60 has an enlarged prostate, with nine out of ten affected by the age of 85. The condition just seems like a little annoying at the start often turns into an array of annoying symptoms.
There are some ways to know about prostate symptoms. The symptoms of an enlarged prostate can differ, but the most common ones are:
•Changes or problems with urination, such as a hesitant, interrupted, weak stream.
•Urgency, leaking or dribbling,
•More frequent urination, especially at night. This is called nocturia.
•Frequently feeling you have to urinate, but nothing comes out.
•Pain or discomfort while urinating or A burning or stinging feeling when passing urine
Men who have symptoms of prostate obstruction or as mentioned above are much more likely to develop chronic kidney disease. Moreover, the size of the prostate does not always conclude how stern the obstruction or the symptoms will be. Some men with seriously enlarged glands have little obstruction and few symptoms while others, whose glands are less enlarged, have more blockage and greater problems.
But it has great tendency to cause severe problem and if the problem is not detected and treated at the right time, some troubling and dangerous consequences may occur. So, it is better to get the treatment at the right time to avert any deadly outcomes.
